Tours of Dublin (paraphrased)

When you're planning a visit to the Irish capital, you'll naturally want to
take in Dublin's best sights and attractions - and there are several
different ways you can explore the city.

The easiest and cheapest option is a self-guided tour of Dublin
on foot. You could also make use of Dublin's public transport
system. Or you might choose to rent a car to get around, although
we do not recommend driving in Dublin as a tourist.

The best and most comfortable way to get to know Dublin is by
joining one of the many pre-organised bus tours. Our Hop-on-
hop-off Tours let you see all the major sites at your own pace,
making them the most flexible Dublin tours available. They
usually travel in loops around the city centre, and the flexibility
comes from being able to get off and later re-board the buses at
any stop.

On another tour, known as the Viking Splash Tour, you'll be
driven around the city streets and the Grand Canal in an
amphibious vehicle, while learning mainly about Dublin's Viking
heritage. This is an enjoyable tour that covers most of the
important sites, but you're not able to get off at any point.

There's even a tour that runs in the evening. It traces the path
of Dublin's ghosts and grave-robbers aboard a specially designed
double-decker bus, featuring a performance by live actors. It's
only for the brave, and it definitely doesn't cover the main
tourist spots, but it makes for great evening entertainment.

It's also possible to see Dublin from the water on our Dublin
river tour. You'll cruise up and down the River Liffey aboard a
modern boat, taking in panoramic views of the Quays and the
Docklands area. It's a real bonus to experience Dublin from a
different perspective.
